A presence test of a literal key that a record shape does not declare read the receiver as the record and answered undefined. In an optional chain that conversion runs before the chain can short-circuit, so `missing?.["a;b"] === undefined` threw a TypeError for a missing value stored dynamically, where Node answers true. An optional read keeps the optional chain's lowering, which reads a nullish receiver as undefined and the undeclared key of a present one as undefined.
