Martin Vogel 600ec428d6 Fix lint (http.NoBody) and restructure release workflow ...

- Use http.NoBody instead of nil in checkForUpdate (gocritic httpNoBody)
- Restructure workflow: lint+test gate -> parallel builds -> release
  Prevents wasted build compute when lint or tests fail.
