In bin/ai-memory, remote_digest() extracted the first sha256 found in manifest inspect output via grep | head -n 1. Because multi-arch image manifest lists list linux/arm64 first, the comparison against local_digest() always failed on x86_64 and Podman hosts, producing a perpetual false-positive 'a newer image is available on Docker Hub' warning. Match against the host platform architecture (amd64 or arm64), check against all locally known repo digests, preserve volume mount modes (such as :Z) in emit_docker_run_script, and filter out transient container runtime environment variables.
