- Rules now evaluated top-down; first match wins
- Non-overlapping dataset bands (100k/1M/100M exact boundaries assigned)
- compute_gpu_hours now short-circuits at <200 and gates DINOv2 training
- Retrieval and dense-prediction tasks override backbone rules deterministically
- 'use pretrained' cases emit structured output (method: none, use_pretrained: DINOv2) matching the output schema
